Ford Confirms 2025 Mustang Production for Early November Start
For Mustang enthusiasts across New England, the arrival of the 2025 Ford Mustang brings excitement, even as the iconic car builds on the major redesign it received in 2024. While few updates were expected this year, Ford has unveiled some key changes, many of which are tied to the Mustang’s 60th anniversary. With plenty of muscle car fans in New England eagerly awaiting the new model, it’s now confirmed when production and deliveries will begin.
Production of the 2025 Ford Mustang is set to start on November 4th, 2024, at Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant. While this date could change due to various factors, it gives us a solid timeframe for when this classic will begin rolling off the line, just in time for New Englanders to consider their next ride before the snow hits.
The most notable update for 2025 is the introduction of the 60th Anniversary Package, which will feature retro-inspired design elements, honoring the Mustang’s six decades of history. This special edition will be limited to 1,965 units, with some models finished in a nostalgic Brittany Blue, reminiscent of classic Mustangs seen on the streets of Boston and beyond. Additionally, all models will now come standard with dual-zone automatic climate control, perfect for those crisp autumn drives through Connecticut or Massachusetts.
On the flip side, a few features will be dropped from the 2025 model, including wireless charging, previously standard on the EcoBoost Premium, GT Premium, and Dark Horse models. The EcoBoost High Performance Package has also been discontinued, which might disappoint performance-focused drivers looking to conquer the winding roads of the White Mountains.
When it comes to exterior color choices, Ford is making a few changes as well. Four colors are being retired—Atlas Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Yellow Splash Metallic Tri-Coat, and Dark Matter Gray Metallic. However, two new hues—Wimbledon White and Molten Magenta Metallic Tri-Coat—are being introduced, offering drivers fresh and bold options to stand out on New England’s scenic routes.
Overall, while the 2025 Ford Mustang doesn’t bring major changes, its anniversary package and updated features make it an exciting option for New England drivers looking for both nostalgia and modern flair. With production slated to begin in November, the wait for this iconic muscle car won’t be long.

I have the 2025 Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Mustang in Brittany Blue that I took delivery in late November and have yet to receive the Red Vermillion wheel center caps and we are in Mid April. Has anyone received their red center caps yet?
