The Ford F-250 Super Duty, a stalwart in the best-selling F-Series lineup, has once again proven its mettle by clinching the 2024 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Award. This recognition follows its previous victories, including the 2023 awards for both the F-250 and F-350 models in their respective segments.Ā

This year, the Ford F-250 stood out in the full-size 3/4 ton pickup category, particularly with the XL, regular cab, two-wheel drive model. It dominated by winning 19 out of 28 lifestyle cost scenarios. This model not only offers the lowest insurance costs in its class but also surpassed 167 competing trims, securing its place as a top choice for fleet operators looking for reliability and cost-efficiency.Ā

Understanding the Vincentric Awards Methodology

The Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America Awards, now in their twentieth year, are highly respected in the fleet industry. The awards are based on a comprehensive cost of ownership analysis of over 3,000 vehicle configurations, assessing factors such as depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. The analysis includes evaluations across all 50 states and Washington D.C., encompassing 28 different lifecycle scenarios.Ā

Ford's Broader Achievements in Fleet Excellence

Fordā€™s success didn’t stop with the F-250. The Ford F-150 Lightning Pro also received accolades in the full-size half-ton pickup segment, and the Ford Maverick XL topped the small truck category, showcasing Fordā€™s overall dominance in multiple segments.Ā

David Wurster, President of Vincentric, emphasized the importance of these awards, noting they offer valuable guidance backed by data-driven insights and current market conditions. These awards assist OEMs, fleet management companies, and fleet operators in making informed decisions that optimize cost management.Ā
